Overview

Our beginner Scratch course is the perfect introduction to coding for young creators aged 6–10. Campers use colorful blocks to animate characters, design games, and build interactive stories—all while learning the basics of logic and sequencing. With plenty of teamwork and imagination, this course builds a strong foundation in coding through creative play.

Program Highlights

Learn to use Scratch’s drag-and-drop interface, working with sprites, scenes, and event-based coding. Kids discover how to animate characters and design interactive stories from the first session. They quickly build confidence in using code blocks and understanding cause-effect relationships.

Students will animate sprites with movement, costume changes, and sounds to enrich projects. They explore creativity while learning the logic behind each action and reaction. This helps build storytelling, sequencing, and visual thinking skills.

From talking sprites to basic games like “Catch the Apple” and “Baseball Hit,” students apply their learning. They understand user interaction, game mechanics, and visual feedback using Scratch tools. These games serve as early foundations in programming logic and design thinking.

In the final class, students create a personal game or story using everything they’ve learned. They plan, build, and present their projects to the class, showcasing originality and understanding. This promotes creativity, confidence, and communication in young coders.

This camp is perfect for kids aged 6 and above, especially those who are new to coding. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and creativity!

Campers will learn the basics of coding using Scratch, including:

  • Animating characters (sprites)
  • Designing interactive stories
  • Building simple games
  • Using logic, sequencing, and events in code

By the end, they’ll complete and present their own original project.

Each session is 1 hour long, held 3 days a week, with flexible time slots available between 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You'll be able to select your preferred time when registering.

We maintain a small group size of 5 students per trainer (5:1) to ensure personal attention and interactive learning.

This is a fully online camp, accessible from anywhere with a stable internet connection and a computer/laptop.e

Participants will use the Scratch platform, which is free and works in any modern browser. No downloads are required.)

Yes! Every participant who completes the camp will receive a Certificate of Completion.

The course fee is PKR 8,000.
