Future Builders Lab · by TechTree

The tech program running at both venues.

16 sessions. 4 progressive phases. Every session builds on the last — from guided exploration all the way to independent innovation, ending with a live Showcase Day.

1
Sessions 1 to 4

Discover

Explore how technology works through coding, logic, and first hands on builds

2
Sessions 5 to 10

Build

Build real projects — games, robots, circuits, and full engineering systems

3
Sessions 11 to 14

Apply

Create intelligent systems using AI, electronics, and real problem-solving

4
Sessions 15 and 16

Showcase

Present a complete working system built and tested across all sessions

What they learn

The 5 foundations of real world innovation

Every session strengthens one or more of these. The final project integrates all five.

01

Coding

Interactive programs, games, and simulations using structured logic

02

Robotics

Program robots to move, respond, and make decisions using sensors

03

Electronics and Circuits

Design and build electronic systems using real components and sensors

04

AI and Machine Learning

Train AI models using real data and connect them to working hardware

05

Innovation and Showcase

Apply design thinking to build complete systems and present at Demo Day

Inside every session

A proven four-step structure every time

Step 01

Spark

A quick demo or challenge that captures attention and sets the context

Step 02

Learn

Key concept introduced through guided explanation and interactive examples

Step 03 · Core

Build

Students build, test, debug, and iterate on real systems

Step 04

Share

Students present their work and connect it to the next session

Session 16

Showcase Day the proof of learning.

Every student presents a complete system they built, tested, and genuinely understand. Parents are invited.

On Showcase Day, every student:

Presents · Demonstrates · Explains

Live demo · Q&A with parents · Real time problem solving in front of an audience

No generic participation. Every student is recognised for a real, specific achievement.

What parents experience:

  • A live working system — not a slideshow
  • Their child explaining how it works in their own words
  • Real builds: robots, circuits, AI systems
  • Visible progress from Session 1 to Showcase Day
  • Recognition based on real strengths
  • Certificate of Completion presented on the day
From last year's camp

FAQs

Everything parents ask us.

Maktab Summer Studio is a full Islamic summer program that combines Qur'an and Tajweed, Tarbiyah and character building, Future Builders Lab tech sessions by TechTree, and Fitness and Fun activities. It is run in partnership between Maktab (a project of Fiqh Academy) and TechTree. Ecole is a pure tech camp running only the Future Builders Lab curriculum by TechTree, with no additional activities. Both run 16 tech sessions using the same TechTree curriculum.
Both Maktab and Ecole are open to children aged 5 to 11. At Maktab, children are grouped into Explorers (ages 5 to 7, Grades 1 to 3) and Innovators (ages 8 to 11, Grades 4 to 6) with separate timetables for each group. The TechTree tech program is also structured accordingly with Foundation Lab for younger children and Advanced Builders Lab for older ones.
Yes. At Maktab Summer Studio, boys and girls are in completely separate batches for all activities including Qur'an, Tarbiyah, Tech, and Fitness sessions. When registering for Maktab, you will select your preferred batch (boys or girls) and time slot (morning or afternoon). Ecole runs mixed batches.

Maktab has two age groups — Explorers (Ages 5 to 7) and Innovators (Ages 8 to 11) — each with morning and afternoon batches. Fitness and Fun is only in morning batches.

No experience is needed at all. Foundation Lab (ages 5 to 8) starts completely from scratch. Students who already have coding or robotics experience are placed in the Advanced Builders Lab where they will be genuinely challenged. All equipment and materials are provided — children just show up.
Maktab Summer Studio (Rs. 20,000) covers all 16 sessions including Qur'an, Tarbiyah, Tech, and Fitness components, all robotics kits and tech equipment, all materials and components, and the Certificate of Completion on Showcase Day. Ecole (Rs. 15,000) covers all 16 Future Builders Lab tech sessions, all equipment and materials, and the Certificate. Nothing extra needs to be purchased at either venue.
Boys should wear comfortable shirts or t-shirts with trousers, joggers, or kurta shalwar. Shorts should remain below the knee. Girls should wear comfortable modest clothing suitable for movement and classroom activities. Girls should bring a small scarf or dupatta for Qur'an sessions. There is no specific dress code at Ecole.
By Showcase Day, students have built multiple real working systems including interactive games and simulations, autonomous robots that navigate and respond to sensors, electronic circuits, trained AI models, and a final integrated project they designed themselves. Foundation Lab students also build a working Smart Pocket Light they take home.
Session 16 is a live Demo Day where every student presents their complete project to parents, trainers, and guests. Students demonstrate their builds, explain how they work, and answer questions. Parents see real robots, circuits, and AI systems in action. Every student receives a Certificate of Completion and personalised recognition for a specific strength — no generic participation awards.
Yes. We share regular updates and photos with parents via a WhatsApp group so you can see what your child is building each session. Parents are personally invited and expected to attend Showcase Day.
